The AviaTrix-RST MTM speaker kit is designed to deliver high performance, low distortion audio for both music and home theater applications. Dayton Audio's ND140-8 handles the bass and lower midrange frequencies. The ND140-8 features an efficient, low-distortion Neo-Balanced motor that is combined with a rigid yet lightweight aluminum diaphragm, yielding impressive high-impact audio reproduction. The popular Dayton Audio RST28F-4 was chosen for the upper frequencies. This unique 1-1/8" silk dome tweeter features a state-of-the-art Ferrofluid cooled motor system employing copper shorting rings to ensure that high frequency content is reproduced as transparently as possible, assuring studio-quality performance. _x000D_ _x000D_ The solid 1/2" MDF enclosure panels are all CNC milled by Denovo Audio to tight tolerances ensuring easy assembly.
